Just finished Click, Clack, Quack to School and it’s actually pretty entertaining! 🐄 The farm animals decide they want to go to school with the kids, which sounds like total chaos but works surprisingly well. Farmer Brown gets dragged along for the ride, of course.
The book is part of Doreen Cronin’s popular “Click, Clack” series, featuring the same mischievous farm animals from “Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type.” The illustrations are vibrant and the whole thing has that classic barnyard humor that makes kids giggle.
What I liked most was how the animals actually try to participate in school activities - it’s chaotic but sweet. The barnyard artwork “will grab the attention of young readers,” and honestly, they can “stand in line (sort of), use indoor voices (perhaps)” which is pretty relatable for any parent! Perfect for back-to-school season or just when your little ones are curious about what happens at school! 📚
